Exiled Merchant – Chapter 17

Chapter 17 – Public bathhouse in Yak Village

“Thank you very much for your time today.”

As evening fell, I left the herb farmhouse, being seen off by the mistress, Arcana.

My whole body ached.

After that, Burgess started to stretch even more to show his good side.

He was already groggy.

“Let’s go take a bath!”

Burgess said, and the two of us decided to stop by the public bathhouse in Yak Village.

The public bathhouse is right next to the herb store of Arcana.

The entrance fee is 5 mana for villagers and 30 mana for outsiders.

There is only one bathtub, though men and women are separated by time of day.

Right now it was just men’s time.

Burgess’s body, stripped of equipment and clothing. His entire body was covered with scars.

I knew it, he was an adventurer afterall.

Although the hero Ryan, who fights with his super-fast movement technique, had hardly any wounds that looked like wounds.

His fellow warrior, Goran, was covered in scars.

That’s what usually happens to ordinary people who have been adventurers for decades.

“What are you staring? I ain’t got any taste for that side of things!”

Burgess shrinks back, taking the trouble to hide what was fully open earlier with his hand.

It was quite disgusting.

The two of us soak in the hot water.

“You, what are you going to do tomorrow?”

Will you come to pick herbs tomorrow? That’s probably what he meant.

“I don’t know. Unlike you, I don’t have that much money in my pocket. I have to earn money day in and day out to survive. And I want to accumulate more and more money so that I can do a big business as a merchant. I’m just kidding about Puddin’. I’m just stocking up on medicinal herbs.”

And that purpose was fulfilled.

As planned.

I had sweated it out with her, and Arcana, the mistress of the herb farm, gave me some freebies.

However, it was only “a little”.

If you only consider the loss for one day, it would have been more profitable to look for a baggage handler job in guild.

However, this is like an investment that is looking ahead to the future.

Relationships with business partners are important.

Even when it comes to Arcana.

It seems that they were hoping to buy a large amount of inventory in bulk.

I was taken for a ride, and this time I bought 50,000 mana worth…

“Thank you for your patronage! I look forward to working with you again!”

Saying so, Arcana bows deeply.

In response, her ample breasts bounced.

I decided that if I ever stocked up on herbs again, this would definitely be the place to do it.

“The way I see it, Puddin’. I’m sure she has a crush on me. We made eye contact five times today.

“Oh, okay.”

“Arcana probably has a thing for me, too,” he said. “And one of the times she looked at me and smiled.”

“Oh, really?”

“If they both come at the same time. I’m sorry Arcana, but I’m going to choose Puddin-chan.”

“That’s… good for you.”

As we were talking about that.

The water started to simmer.

“It’s kind of hot, isn’t it?”

I said, but Burgess was not so interested, “Heh heh heh, puddin’.

“Wait, wait, wait. This is pretty bad!”

“Hmm? Nothing bad about Puddin, he.. he..”

It seems this is not the case for him.

Burgess the magic swordsman.

It is said that he pushed his way through the flaming breath of Melamomor, an intermediate level monster, with ease.

So this level of boiling water is insignificant to a guy who has fought a hundred battles!

“Heh…, heh heh heh ……”

I evacuated from the hot water and watched what happened.

Burgess was soon submerged in the hot water.

I got into the hot water, almost burning my feet.

In a hurry, I pulled up Burgess.

“This guy… no way…”

Look at that energetic “lower half” of his body.

I felt a shiver.

“Hehehe… Puddin’. Hehehe…”

Apparently, it was time for the public bathhouse to switch to the women’s bath.

The boy who was the bathhouse keeper saw the strong-looking Burgess and could not speak to him. He managed to change the boiling water to hot water before the village women arrived.

“Tsk!! Do you know what you’ve done?” (Albus)

A boy with teary eyes, terrified by Burgess.

And there…

“Oh… how big…”

Arcana, the mistress of the herb farm, appeared.

By the way, we’re all naked in the dressing room.

Arcana is looking at us alternately, naked, with her hand over her mouth.

Her daughter Puddin was also there, hiding behind her.

Arcana and Pudding.

They came to soak in the hot water at the public bathhouse at this time of the day, when it switches to the women’s bath.

“Please join us…hehehe.”

In an instant, Burgess has a delirious look on his face and is saying such things while blowing a nosebleed.

I slap the guy and bring him back to his senses.

I left the public bathhouse in Yak Village.

“What have I done? I think they hate me!”

“Don’t worry. You didn’t much different from usual.”

That’s right. I’d love to support you, too, but…

I think it’s just not possible after this…
